Who is VALV Engineering?
We are a coachbuilder dedicated to rejuvenating the BMW E46 M3. Rooted in the golden era of naturally aspirated performance, each commissioned build pairs motorsport-grade mechanical rejuvenation with meticulously tailored coachwork across all facets.
Every chassis is hand-assembled to mechanical “zero-mile” condition, integrating new hardware, bespoke cockpit architecture, and an uncompromising attention to feedback. VALV does not merely restore an icon; we distill and elevate the purest driving dynamics of a legendary platform for the modern collector.

Engine
Hand-assembled in the United States, using measured and machined new parts, each engine goes through a full rebuild process from our trusted partner Lang Racing Engines. Estimated power output is 405hp / 325tq. With a curb weight of under 3,300lbs, our goal of under 10:1 weight-to-power ratio has been achieved.

Suspension
Once the donor vehicle is in house, all parts are removed, inspected, and reviewed with you before any work is completed. This includes struts/shocks, suspension arms, bushings, sway bars, braces, and all nuts/bolts. Suspension options will be reviewed prior to installation.

Wheels/Tires
Each car will come equipped with a custom set of lightweight, forged wheels. With options of track-oriented tires or more street-focused, you will be ready to go driving as soon as the car is delivered.

Color
Your car is an extension of you, and it deserves to represent you fully. During our consultation, we will review color options for interior, exterior, and any items that you may want to customize.

Brakes
A car that drives well also stops well. Your M3 will come equipped from 6-piston Brembo brakes up front, and 4-piston brakes in the rear as standard. Our goal is to make the car serviceable as needed, thus why we have partnered with Brembo to provide and option that allows any enthusiast to accomplish a brake change at the track if needed.

Interior
As timeless as the E46 M3 interior is, a refresh is naturally in order. Every touch-point in the car is brought to factory (or modernized) condition. During our initial consultation, we will review your goals and customize your interior to achieve what you have envisioned.
